A non-profit foundation for the sole purpose of helping cancer families make lasting memories

Emily’s House will purvey the enduring love, spirit and care that Emily Turner Smith displayed throughout her entire life.  Through service and putting others first, The Emily Smith  Foundation will uphold and exemplify Jesus’ command in Mark 12:39, to “…love thy neighbor as thyself.”  Emily’s House will encourage the principle of “Paying it Forward,” and doing a good deed for someone each day, no matter how small. 

• Provide up to one week of lodging for the recipient family.
• All meals including any dietary restrictions or allergies.
• A travel allowance to and from the location.
• Activities to get families involved to include counseling in the form of shared stories or religious/spiritual guidance.
• A river cruise or near coast to 20 miles fishing trip at no charge (determined by physical capacity of family members).
